Taking place on October 21, 2018, this annual event celebrates families and fall. Events include the pumpkin derby; children’s costume parade; storytelling; pumpkin carving demonstrations; carnival style games; pie-eating, pumpkin seed spitting and mummy wrapping contests; and live music.
The Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living (NNCIL) introduced PumpkinPalooza to Northern Nevada in October 2012 as a fun family fall event that also publicizes NNCIL and what this vital organization does for the community. The inaugural event attracted nearly 1,500 people, indicating a definite demand for en event of this kind. 2013 attracted 5,000 people, more than 8,500 in 2015 and nearly 11,000 in 2016. This is a great way to show your clientele that you support your local community, while also getting the opportunity to meet with them one-on-one at PumpkinPalooza itself. The Pumpkin Derby was featured in the Food Network magazine in 2017, as one of the top fall events in the country!
Please consider these package categories as a jumping-off point. We’re happy to meet with you and put together a package specifically designed to meet your organization’s needs.
